Principle:
The slow movement of the rings is caused by the rotation of the centrally placed Bolt and moves large agglomerates of the sludge without destroying their structure causing easy removal of liquids. The dehydrated sludge is then transported by screw to the press outlet. At the end of the chamber there is a lid which allows easy adjustment of sludge dewatering.
Equipment:
- Dynamic Flocculator
- SLUDGE Pumps
- Polymer Pump
- Control
Advantages:
- Ten times lower energy consumption compared to a vortex press
- Two hundred times lower water consumption for washing compared to belt press
- Very low maintenance costs
