Cylindrical Screen

Wastewater is fed into the drum, whose trapezoidal bars hold a fixed 0.5 mm aperture. Cleaning knives lift the screenings, and pressure washing runs in cycles once the liquid reaches the set level.

Data Sheet

The cylindrical screen removes solid particles larger than 0.5 mm from wastewater.

Operating principle: wastewater enters the cylindrical screen by gravity or pump. Screenings are retained inside the drum, while the separated liquid flows out by gravity. Cleaning blades collect solid particles larger than 0.5 mm and direct them to the waste handling section of the treatment plant.

The unit operates until the set liquid level is reached, then the drum reverses and the spray nozzles activate automatically for washing. The entire process runs in automatic mode.
