The decanter centrifuge works by generating high centrifugal force inside a rapidly rotating bowl. This force acts on solid particles suspended in the liquid, causing very rapid sedimentation. The presented decanter series is designed for sludge dewatering and thickening in industrial facilities and municipal wastewater treatment plants.

Compared to conventional decanters, this unit dewaters a greater volume of sludge (up to 30% more) in the same time, while delivering clearer centrate, lower polyelectrolyte consumption, and higher dry solids content in the dewatered sludge cake.
