Post-flotation Sludge Tank
Collection and conditioning of post-flotation sludge prior to further processing.
Data Sheet
The unit is made of acid-resistant steel or plastic. Its capacity depends on the pre-treatment plant output, room size, and emptying frequency. The tank is fitted with paddle mixers operating in automatic mode to prevent the sludge from solidifying.
The tank's main function is to homogenise and store post-flotation sludge, which is then directed to the dewatering station in subsequent process stages. The unit also allows post-flotation sludge to be mixed with excess sludge from the biological wastewater treatment plant.
